RESOLUTION REQU ST NG THE HRA AND PORT AUTHORITY
TO CONSIDER AND AD PT REPLACEMENT HOUSING POLICIES
uJHEREAS , the City Co nc 1 has enacted an administrative ordinance
adopting a replacement h us ng policy for loss of affordable housing
by reason of real estate de elopments receiving City financial
assistance; and
WHEREAS , the preserv ti n �.nd Production of affordable housing
within the City of Saint pa 1 is ir_1pacted by development and rede-
velopment Projects recei in, financial assistance from the Housing
and Redevelopment Author ty and Port Authority of the City of Saint
Paul; and
WHEREAS , the objecti e f nroduction and preservation of afford-
able housing within the it of Saint Paul would be served were the
HRA and Port Authority t ' opt replacement housing policies similar
to that of the City; now t refore, be it
RESOLVED by the Coun i of the City of Saint Paul that the
Board of Commissioners o e Housing and Redevelopment Authority
and of the Port Authorit f the City of Saint Paul are requested
to consider anyl adopt re 1 cement housing policies similar to that
of the City of Saint Pau .
