99-1043ORIGINAL Presented By Referred To Council File # �� � �0�{3 Green Sheet # � �j a9 G `-{ Committee: Date 1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul ("City) is eligible is to make application for funds under the Contamination Cleanup 2 Grant Program ("Pro�am") administered by the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development 3 ("DTED"); and 4 5 WHEREAS, the Ciry has idenrified a site at Grace Street and Osceola ("Project") within the City that meets the 6 Program's purposes and criteria. 8 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City act as a legal sponsor for the Project contained in the Program 9 to be submitted on October 29, 1999, and that the d'uector of the Department of Planning and Economic Development 10 for the City ("Director") is hereby authorized to apply to DTED for funding of this Project on behalf of the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon approval of its application by the state, the City may enter into an ageement with the State of Minnesota foz the above-referenced Project, and that Ciry certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in all contract agreements.
