WHEREAS, on June 7, 1979, ean E. Wright fell while walking
on the sidewalk at Eagle and.R a Streets when there was a discrepency
in the levels of the sidewalk p nels. Mrs. Wright indicatedshe
sustained continuing injuries b cause of this accident, including
headaches, backaches, hearing 1 ss, loss of inemory, balance problems,
and problems with her foot an nkle; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Wright cla'm the City of St. Paul was negligent
in maintaining the sidewalk. T e City of St. Paul claims that
Mrs. Wright was negligent; an
WHEREAS, the City Attor y s Office recommends that this case
be fully and completely compr m sed for $12, 000 . 00 ; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that upon rec ip of a Release and Stipulation
for Dismissal with Prejudice, t e proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to p ut of the Tort Liability Fund
09070-0511-000 to Jean E. Wr ' gh and Robert Wright and their
attorney the sum of $12 , 000 . 0 o fully and completely settle any
and all claims or matters ma e r not made against the City of
St.Paul arising out of the s ' de alk accident of June 7, 1979 .
