WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul D vision of Parks and Recreation sponsors
the Junior Royalty Program for the S . aul Winter Carnival .
AND, The Junior Royalty makes a pe rances in parades on a float as good
will ambassadors for the City of Sai t aul .
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, T at the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby pledges to hold harmless and ec are that our organization will take
full responsibility and defend any c ai s, injury, action, legal proceeding or
settlement arising out of, in connec io with, or as a result of, our participation
in the Minneapolis Aquatennial Grand Da Parade, July 15, 1989 and the Minneapolis
Torchlight Parade, July 19, 1989.
AND9 That the Council of the Ci y f Saint Paul , therefore hold the
Minneapolis Aquatennial harmless fro , nd indemnify the Association against,
and all claims, demands, actions, su ts costs, injuries, and liabilities,
including attorneys' fees, arising o t f, relating to, connected with, by reason
of, or resulting in any manner from ur participation in said parades.
