WAIVE CLASS B POLICE PERMIT FEES AND STREET BARRICADE FEES FOR
DEDICATION AND GRATTTUDE CEREMONY IN HONOR OF
POLICE OFFICER RON RYAN JLJNIOR
WHEREAS, the City of St. Paul wishes to recognize the courage and sacrifice of Police Officer Ron Ryan Junior;
and
WHEREAS, Dayton's Bluff District Four Community Council has stepped forward to sponsor a dedication and
gratitude Ceremony on Saturday October 30, 1999; and
5 WHEREAS, the cost of a Class B police permit and street barricades for groups seeking to close off the streets is
6 up to 25 dollars per block ; and
7 WHEREAS, this cost represents a significant financial burden to the Dayton's Bluff Community Council.
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul waive the fees associated with the Class B
9 police permits and street barricades for the Dayton's B1uffDistrict Four�Community Council to hold the dedication
10 and gratitude ceremony on October 30, 1999.
