WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Pol ce Depar�cment desires �co enter into an
agreement with the State of Minn so a, Department of Public Safety for
the purpose of receiving prelimi ar breath test instruments on a loan
basis for use by law enforcement of icers to assist in the detection of
motoris�s who may be in violatio o Minnesota Statutes Sec�ion 169.121 ,
or local ordinances in conformit t erewith, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL ED �ha� the proper City Officials are
hereby authorized and directed t e ecu�te the Agreement with the State
of Minnesota, Depar�men� of Publ c afe�y subject �to the terms and condi-
tions set forth in said Agreemen , copy of which is to be kep� on file
and of record in �the Department f inance and Management Services.
