WHEREAS, legis ation passed during the 1987 session set forth
a process for olice and fire relief association consolidation
into PERA; and
WHEREAS, H. F. 11 and S.F. 268 , as introduced, would change the
requirement f r consolidation approval from a majority of
those voting o a majority of the membership;
NOW, THEREFORE�, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul
neither oppos nor support such legislation, but request that
such le�islat' on include a local approval clause for the City
of Saint Paul .
