Referendum. Any ordinance , or resolution passed pursuant to subdivisions 5 or 6 of section 6. 3.3 of this chapter , may be subjected to referendum by a petition filed within forty=five days after its ublication, in the case of an ordinance or within for �►five days after its passage and approval or council override of a mayoral veto in the case of a resolution The petition shall state, at the head of each page o in an attached paper, a description of the ordinance r resolution involved.
