WHEREAS the City of Saint Paul , acting through its
Valuation En ineer, has secured an agreement for the purchase of
that certain property described as follows :
Wes 5 feet of Lot 17 and all of Lot 16 , Block 2
of Michel ' s Subdivision of Block 5 , Stinson ' s
Div sion
WHEREAS , � the purchase of the property herein described is
necessary f�r the widening of Dale Street between Sherburne and
Van Buren Av�nues .
WHEREAS compensation to the property owner is in the amount
of $82 , 339. t being a fair and reasonable price for the subject
property ac ording to the appraisal obtained by the Valuation
Engineer; an
WHEREAS the Valuation Engineer has recommended the purchase
of said prop rty at the price stated above;
NOW THE EFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Ken Jonee , owner of
record , the sum of $82 , 339• The conditions of said sale are
contained i the Memorandum for Sale of Real Estate ; said
memorandum is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference. Said sum to be charged to Funding Source C88-2G003-
0788-25o1g .
