proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay

1 . Stephen M. Lenarz the sum of $1 , 717 .95 in full settlement of
his clai�n of damages sustained on or about October 27, 1988 ,
as more �articularly set out in a Notice of Claim filed with
