I am writing on bet�alf of the Fitzgerald association because of numerous
complaints I have ! received lately due to some noisy equipment on your
roof. I suspect y u may not be aware of the problem, because I have sat
on your deck many imes without heari.ng it. Our condo is located across
the alley from your pa;king lot (the two three-storu apartment buildings) ,
and unfortunately he noise travels across the lot.
I think you would eed to stop by our back door area on a still evening
to understand just � how loud it can be. The noisy equipment (an exhaust
fan or compressor?)I runs nretty much continuously. One member told me
that she has had t¢ shut her windows on a hot night at 3:00 r'�M in order
to get to sleep• I
Personally I think he equipment must be in need of serious overhaul be-
cause it makes such a racket. If it is running normally, then I believe
a sound barrier wil be needed. We would appreciate your investigating
the situation and t king whatever steps are needed. If I can help in any
way, please call meiat 222-4080.
To end on a positi e note, I 'd like to say that we have been very hap�y
with Zelda's and th'nk of you as a good neighbor and asset to the neigh-
