WHEREAS, the City has established a Management Compensation Committee to review and
make recommendations as to the appropriate compensation package for the City's non-represented
management personnel; and
WHEREAS, such committee did submit such recommendation; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said recommendations, the Council authorized and approved the
wage and benefit policy for the year of 1990, covering all non-represented management personnel,
under Council File No. 89-2281, dated December 28, 198�; and
WHEREAS, the Council has made no provision for the 1991 compensation and benefit policy
for the non-represented management personnel at this time and that the Council may need more
time to review facts concerning this issue before it acts on this issue; and
WHEREAS, there must be some legal authority to continue to provide for such compensation
and benefits policy for the year of 1991 or until action is taken by the Council in regard to such
policy ; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the compensation and benefit policy approved for the non-represented
management personnel by Council for the year 1990, by Council Resolution #89-2281 dated
December 28, 198�, shall continue to be in effect for such personnel, subsequent to December 31,
1990 and until such time as it shall be amended by Council action.
