2 IN THE CONSIDERATION OF SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION ISSUES

4 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council is required to make decisions regarding the
5 Warner/Shepard Road area which will have a major long-term impact on the future of the City;
6 and

8 WHEREAS, it is some�imes necessary for the City Council to have access to specialized engineering
9 �� advise on transportation issues; and
10
11 WHEREAS, advise in �these matters is best obtained from engineering�eg�l firms which
12 specialize in transportation matters; now, therefore, be it
13
14 RESOLVED, that the Council Research Director is to enter into contracts with qualified firms to
15 provide such services as the City Council may require to assist them in reaching the best decisions
16 regarding Warner/Shepard Road and surrounding areas; and be it further

18 RESOLVED, that funds for these contracts, in amounts not to exceed a total of $�;698; are to be
19 allocated from within the 1990 City Council budget activities 00001 and 00002. ""�""
