WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has applied for a $13, 160 grant
from the Departtment of Public Services Community Energy Council
program for th� purpose of funding the Residential Lighting
Conservation P�*oject, and
WHEREAS, the City must amend its grant agreement with the State
of Minnesota td receive funds for the Residential Lighting
Conservation Pxtoj ect; and
WHEREAS, subje�t to the execution of the amendment of the
community enerc�y council grant, there will exist revenues in
excess of thos� estimated� in the 1990 budget, and the Mayor,
pursuant to Sec�tion 10. 07. 01 of the City Charter, does certify
that these rev�nues are available for appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the M�yor recommends that the following changes be made
to the 1990 bu$get, subject to the execution of the amendment of
the community �nergy council grant agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul,
acting as the $ponsoring unit of government for the project
titled Residen�ial Lighting Conservation Project to be conducted
during the per.�od October 1, 1990 to March 31, 1991, enter into
an amendment o� the grant agreement with the State of Minnesota
for funding th s project; and
BE IT FURTHER �ESOLVED, that, upon entering into such amendment,
the City Counc 1 does hereby accept the $13, 160 Community Energy
Council grant �11 for the Residential Lighting Conservation
Project; and I
BE IT FURTHER ESOLVED, that the proper city officials are �
authorized and�directed to execute certifications as required and
execute such a reements as are necessary to implement the
Residential Li hting Conservation Project; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the City Council adopts the
following changes to the 1990 budget subject to the receipt and
execution of all grant agreements:
