WHEREAS, in 1990, the City of Saint Paul accepted $4,833,000 in State Grant funds
and $2,523,857 in� Federal Grant funds under State Grant Number S-275002-05 and
Federal Grant Nur�ber C-275002-07 to partially fund Saint Paul's 1990 Sewer
Separation Program, and
WHEREAS, the Federal funding was approximately $3,000,000 less than expected
which necessitated the filing by the City of Saint Paul of an amended 1990 State Grant
application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), and
WHEREAS, the a�nended 1990 State Grant application requested the allocation of
$2,300,000 in Fis al Year 1991 State-Grant funds to the Fiscal Year 1990 State Grant
� to compensate fo the Federal funding shortfall, and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency recently approved the above
allocation of Fiscal Year 1991 State Grant�funds, now, therefore
BE IT RESCILVE�, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts an
additional $2,300,000 from 1991 Fiscal Year State funds to help pay for the 1990
Sewer Separation Program and to be deposited into Public Works Account Number
C-90-2T623-3499, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorize
Donald E. Nygaard, Assistant City Engineer or his alternate, Roger Puchreiter,
Assistant City. Engineer, to be the designated representatives to sign all documents
associated with the amended 1990 State Grant.
