WHEREAS, by Laws of Minnesota 1990, Chapter 604, Article 3, Sections 58
and 65, the Minnes�ota Legislature authorized Ramsey County to issue $2,000,000
in general obliga�ion bonds to renovate the Saint Paul Union Depot Concourse
as a facility for ;the arts and sciences on condition that $500,000 in
operational £unding be committed by other sources; and
WHEREAS, Mirinesota Statutes Section 645.021, Subd. 3 provides for local
approval of session laws; and
WHEREA$, it is necessary and desirable that the City approve the
issuance of �the bonds by Ramsey County for the purpose of renovating the Saint
Paul Union D�pot Concourse; now therefore, be it ,
RESOLV�D by the Council of the City of Saint Paul as follows:
1. 'fhat 1�he City Council hereby approves the Laws of Minnesota 1990,
Chapt�r 604, Article 3, Sections 58 and 65, gi�ving bonding
autho�ity to Ramsey County, outside the County's levy limitations,
for renovation of the Saint Paul Union Depot Concourse.
2. 'That the proper City officers are hereby authorized to file the
�neces�ary documents in connection with this local approval with
the S�cretary of State.

WHEREAS, by $.,aws of Minnesota 1990, Chapter 604, Article 3, Sections 58
