5t. Paul City Atto ' Office has agreed to participate in the Lnestic P,buse Pilot Project
created by the 19 1 'slature which is intended to forsrnalate a Nbdel Plan for prosecution
of domestic abuse. Cur tly the City Attorney's Office is erstaffed to handle the
wlne of danestic cases and it is likely that we can participate in ariy meaningful
plan without addit al staff. Because the Legislature will be mandating the irrqlementation
of the Plan at poi t, they need to be prepared to fimd adequate prosecution and other
resource and suppo t c ts of the plan.
