9 WHEREAS, the �City o� Saint Paul is seeking an important partnership with the State of Minnesota
10 to help improve, f0ster $conomic development, allow for urban revitalization, and the quality of life
11 for those people li�ving aind working within Saint Paul; and ��

13 WHEREAS, the �ounc�l has carefully considered a large number of proposals, made by the City
14 Coimcil ±?:� r�*v �epar�ments, and other interested parties, and have determined that the
�� resolutions attachc�4 repiresent those issues that must be dealt with through State legislation to
16 improve the qualilry of Iife in Saint Paul;

18 RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul hereby adopts the attached legislative package entitled "A
19 NEW PARTNER�HIP FOR THE 1990'S: Saint Paul's 1991 Legislative Priorities."

protect its in ere ts and ensure that the interests of the residents and
businesses of the City are looked after.
