WHEREAS, the P blic Works Department for the City of Saint Paul in December, 1990
will submit a grant application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to apply for
State financial aid for its 1991 Combined Sewer Overflow Abatement Program, and
WHEREAS, State tatute requires that a designated municipal official be authorized by
Council resolution to sign the grant application, financial assistance offer and other
related document , now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize and
direct Donald E. N gaard, Assistant City Engineer for the Sewer Division or as his
alternate, Roger P chreiter, Assistant City Engineer for said division, to act as the
City's agent in sig ing all financial documents for State grants and aids relative to the
City of Saint Paul' 1991 Combined Sewer Overtfow�Abatement Program.
