WHEREAS, the 'ty of St. Paul has currently acquired the property at 752 Margaret for
the purpose o�`�n vating and reselling as part of a pilot project to rehabilitate some of
the blighted prope ies in the City; and
WHEREAS, the r ar of the house is directly in contact with the alley right-of-way and
the property woul need a three foot vacation and constructin of a curb extending along
- the back property ' e for the protection of both the house and it's residents; and
WHEREAS, the ey is a dead end and receives minimal traffic.
THEREFOR BE T RESOLVED, the St. Paul City Council authorizes a three foot �
vacation with the onstruction of a curb along the property line belund 752 Margaret.

The property at 752 Margaret is currently under renova ion and owned by the
City. The a ley behind the property is directly in co tact with the house.
The current ondition is unsafe for both the house andiit's residents.
ADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
�The vacation ould allow a safe distance between the ho se and the alley
right-of-way. With the house currently under renovatio it would be practical
that a vacati n be given before the renovation is compl ted.
