RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING ON OCTOBER 28, 1998 OIV THE
IMPLEMEN7'A770N OF SAIN7' PAUL'S LIVING WAGE POLICY
1 Wf�REAS, Council File 96-1512 specifies that there sha11 be an annual report on the implementation of the
2 living wage policy and compliance therewith; and
3 WHEREAS, the City Council requested that the Administration provide such reports on 1997 and 1998 at its
4 October 28, 1998 meeting as a discussion item and make the reports available to the Council a week prior to
5 that meeting; and
6 WF�REAS, the City Council wishes to receive testimony from the community on the success of the living
7 wage policy in the City; now, therefore, be it
8 RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council will hold a public hearing on October 28, 1998 to heaz
9 tesrimony from the community on the living wage policy, as well as discuss the staff report on this policy's
10 implementarion.
