WHEREAS, on gust 1, 1990, the Division of Public Health inspected the property at 1992
Clear Street, Saint Paul Minnesota, and determined that a nuisance existed on said property; and
WHEREAS, on ugust 2, 1990, said Division sent written orders to Larry Propotnik at 1992
Clear Street, Saint Paul Minn., and David A. Pettit at 3526 Polk Street N.E., Minneapolis, Minn.,
who are either the pro rty owners or individuals with a financial interest in the property at 1992
Clear Street, ordering t em to remove a large accumulation of refuse in the yard areas;
WHEREAS, said orders required said persons to abate the refuse including appliances, auto
and bicycle parts, lawn owers, etc. by August 8, 1990 but Larry Propotnik filed a timely appeal of
said orders with the Ci Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the ity Council on August 28, 1990 conducted a public hearing on said appeal
,and affirmed the Divisi n's removal order and determined that the conditions of the property which
is the subject of said itten orders be corrected, within fourteen (14) days of publication of this
resolution; now therefo e, be it
RESOLVED, tha the order of the Division is hereby affirmed ea�cept as modified herein; and
be it
FURTHER RES LVED, in the event the work regarding the refuse is not completed within
the fourteen (14) days fter the publication of this resolution, the City may proceed to perform or
complete the necessary work to abate the said nuisance with the costs incuned therefrom, to be
collected in the manne as provided by law.
