William Anderson, owner, appeared. No one appeazed in opposition. Gerry Strathman stated this hearing is to hear objections to an Auto Repair Gazage License applied for by William Anderson, DBA S& G Auto Repair. Larry Zangs reported LIEP has new conditions to be placed on the license which aze as follows: 1) Vehicle salvage is not permitted; 2) Vehicle parts, partially disassembled vehicles, tires, oil, vehicle hoist, or similar items will not be stored outdoors. Trash will be stored in the dumpster in the existing enclosed area; 3) No repair of vehicies will occur on the exterior of the lot or on the public right-of-way; 4) The existing obscuring fence shall be maintained as required to screen rear pazking area from the street. Mr. Zang reported he was at the site and had written the owner a letter in which the owner was given until August 28 to remove vehicles and auto parts. When Mr. Zangs visited the site this moming, the area had improved. However, there was a pickup truck on the property with tires in the back bed, and there were engines in the reaz enclosed area. Also, some things not associated with auto repair were on the property such as a bumper and metal parts in the dumpster. William Anderson responded he has been cleaning up the property, getting refuse off the ground, and putting it in a barrel to be hauled off. There is a car on the property that does not belong to him. Mr. Anderson is trying to get the owner to remove it. If the owner does not, then Mr. Anderson will remove it himself. Mr. Zang's asked were the tires from his business. Mr. Anderson responded the tires in the truck do not belong to him. The tires and all refuse will be hauled off in about a week. Gerry Strathman asked were the conditions suggested by LIEP acceptable. William Anderson responded yes. Gerry Strathman recommended the license be approved with the above conditions listed.
