WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has approved a park development grant for
Ramsey Count to make improvements in Battle Creek Park, and
WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Department of Parks and Recreation has prepared
plans and sp cifications for said park improvements, known as the Lower
Battle Creek Development Project, consisting of cave treatments, parking
lot and trail construction, at an estimated construction cost of
$215,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the istrict One Community Planning Council has reviewed said park
improvement plans and recommends implementation, and
WHEREAS, the amsey County Board of Commissioners has reviewed and approved
said park imp ovement plans, and
WHEREAS, the ity of Saint Paul , Division of Parks and Recreation has
reviewed said park improvement plans and recommends implementation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ramsey County park improvement plans
known as the ower Battle Cree�C Development Project are hereby approved by
the Council o the City of Saint Paul , and
FURTHER RESOL ED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul expresses its
appreciation o Ramsey County for undertaking this worthwhile project.
