Wf�REAS, the City Clerical Corrunittee is preparing for the annual Administrative Support conference to
be held on October 13 and 14, 1998, at RiverCentre, and
WHEREAS, it is traditional for unions to contribute funds, and goods or services to be awarded to employees
who attend the conference and make their names available to be selected through random drawings; and

7 RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council requests and accepts donations from area merchants, unions
8 and others to have available for randome drawings on October 13 and 14, 1998, and that such donations shail
9 be deemed to be gifts to the City of Saint Paul; and be it

of section 41.03 of the Administrative Code, and in compliance with all the requ}rements of chapter 41 of
