WHEREAS, the M tropolitan Council has approved a final grant amendment for
Phalen Park grant a reement 7604 in the amount of $34,486.50 to compensate the
City for eligible p oject costs previously paid by the�City and the $34,486.50 is
available for reapp opriation along with $7,692.52 remaining in the City's Phalen
Park project accoun , and
WHEREAS, the M tropolitan Council has approved a final grant amendment for
Lilydale-Harriet Is and acquisition grant agreement SG-83-53 i_n the amount of
$20,650.00 to compe sate the City for eligible project costs paid by the City,
and the $20,650.00 's available for reappropriation,
WHEREAS, addit'onal funds are needed to award construction contracts for the
Highland Golf Cours Irrigation System project;
NOW THEREFORE E IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul , upon
the positive advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that
the 1981, 1983 and 988 Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and
amended by the Coun il , are hereby further amended as follows:

Additional funds ($9 ,000) are needed to award contract for the Highland Park Golf
Course irrigation pr ject. City has received Metropolitan Council reimbursement grants
for Phalen Park Impr vement and Lilydale-Harriet Island Acquisition projects, and
