98-863Council File # ��=�3 ��l�� RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Cneen Sheet # � a�, � Presented By Referred To . � Committee: Date WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, on September 2, 1998, received a Notice of Tax Liability from the State of Minnesota stating that Carbone A Family Corporation, djb/a Napoli Cafe, owed delinquent taxes to the State of Minnesota, and; WHEREAS, Carbone A Family Corporation, dJb/a Napoli Cafe, 1406 White Bear Avenue, holds the following licenses at that location: On Sale Wine, On Sale Malt, Restaurant-B and Patio, and; WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. §270.72, subd.l (1994) requires the revocation of any license for the conduct of a profession, occupation, trade or business held by an applicant who owes $500 or more in delinquent taxes or has not £iled returns, and; WHEREAS, under said statute the State of Minnesota must notify the applicant of the intent to require revocation of such license, and of their right to a hearing, and; WHE1tEAS, a hearing under this state statute is expressly provided to be in lieu of any other hearings or_proceedings required by law, which would include the hearing provisions of St. Paul Leg.
