INITIATING ACTION This improvement was initiated by a petition signed by 8 of the 13 assessable lots, representing 64% of the abutting property. EXISTING CONDITIONS This alley is platted to a width of 20 feet The existing grade is moderate to flat. Although there is no large areas of standing water, the dirt and gravel surface becomes quite rough and developes numerous potholes. The alley has a long history of complaints. PROPOSEDIMPROVEMENT Grade and pave the alley with bituminous material to a width of 16 feet. ESTIMATED COST AND FINANCING Construction Costs $7,020.00 Valuations and Assessments Services 380.00 Total Expenditures $7.400.00 Rate per Assessable Foot $ 13.00 Financed by assessment only.
