The esfimated fair 5 market value of the properry is $310,000.00; and 6 7 WfIEREAS, Council File No. 97-1417 further directed City staffto apply to the 8 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources's Natural and Scenic Area Grant Program (DNR) in 9 order to obtain additional financial assistance to match the sum of $150,000.00 which had been 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 granted to the Conservation Fund, a non-profit corporation of the state of Maryland, by North Star Steel and its pazent company, Cargill, Inc. for the acquisition of the LaFavor property ; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Council File No. 97-1417 ,City staff made an application to the DNR's Natural and Scenic Area Grant Program and the DNR subsequently granted the City the sum of $155,000.00 towards the purchase of the LaFavor property; and WHEREAS, the Conservarion Fund has now reached an agreement with the H.J.
