Dear Bob :
On July 15 , 1988 , renovation was started on the third
of three bays at 225 W. 7th Street in St . Paul . Before
this date, two of the three bays had been occupied by
Patrick McGovern' s Pub and Restaurant. The third bay
was occupied by John' s Antiques . The space occupied
by John' s Antiques became avail:able when John noved down
the street.
Permission was sought through what I thought were the
proper channels and permission was granted prior to
starting the renovation. The expansion included en-
larging the seating capacity and enlarging the existing
small kitchen. The square footage in this third bay is
1200 square feet.
The beginning of the renovation was July 15, 1988 and
renovation was completed November 1, 1988. The zoning,
building code and food inspectors were all contacted and
renovation was approved.
Eaclosed is a diagram of the three bays, outlining the
two previously existing bays and the thi=d renovated bay.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me
at 224-5821 or 481-8202.
