WHEREAS , the Saint Paul City Council adopted Council File
No. 9P1�374 on March 13 , 199�l, said resolution being the
ratification of assessments for installation of water service
connections incidental to 1989 CSSP Projects, identified as
Finance File No. 18530--W, Assessment No. 4204; and,
WHEREAS, the property at 1875 Selby Avenue, legally
described as:
Lot 16 , Block 11 , Merriam Park
Second Addition
was assessed $1 ,039. 50 because the property owner failed to
replace water service piping in his property and thus did not
qualify for a cost--free street service connection; and
WHEREAS , on May 25, 1990, the property owner, Mr. Albert J.
Bittner , complied with Water Utility requirements by having said
property piping replaced.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the assessment shall be
reduced to $0. P10;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the reduction of $1, 039 . 50
shall be funded by Water Utility Aid.

file No. 90-374, adopted Ma.rch 13, 1990. Property owner did not qualify for
cost-free connection at time of ratification due to failure to contract out
replacement of water service piping from lot line to his home. Property
owner met this condition on Ma.y 25, 1990.
