WHEREAS, Paul T. Granlund donated his sculpture, Anthrosphere, to
the City of Saint Paul as a gift to President Mikhail Gorbachev
during his historic visit to the state, �
WHEREAS, the City is deeply grateful to Paul T. Grandlund for the
work, which expressed a shared vision of peace and community
through the international language of art,
WHEREAS, it was with deep pride that the City of Saint Paul
presented Mr. Gorbachev with the sculpture,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul recognizes and
commends Paul T. Granlund' s endeavor to foster global unity.
