1 WIIEREAS, the Council has received a petition from Eva Stites for specially assessing costs for a fire
2 protection system for 656 Selby Avenue; and
4 WHEREAS, said petition meets the requirements of Minnesota Stahxtes 429 and the City policy on
5 assessing costs for fire protection systems; and
7 WHEREAS, the Council has fully considered and reviewed the petition and policy; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby autharize the above described
improvement be made, and the proper City officials are hereby directed to proceed with the
improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon compietion of said improvement, the proper City officials sha11
calculate ali expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accardance with
Chapter 429 of the Minnesota Statutes and the fire protection system policy; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor
and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget CommitCee, fliat the Capital Improvement
Budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council is hereby furkher amended in the following
particular:
