CITY OF SAINT
:
1 RESOLVED, that the licensee, Jiil Rasmuson dlbla R&R Books, at 674 University
2 Avenue in Saint Paul, is hereby ordered to pay a fine of $500.00 for the violation of selling
3 sexually explicit material to a minor in violation of Minn. Stat. §617.293 and Saint Paul
4 Legislative Code §276.02(a), said fine to be paid to the Office of License, Inspections and
5 Environmentai Protection within thirty (30) days of the adoption of this resolution by the Council
6 and signature by the Mayor.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Report of the ALJ dated July 7, 1998, with its Findings
of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Memorandum, is expressly ratified and adopted as the written
findings and conclusions of the Councii.
Tlus Resolution is based on the record of proceedings before the Administrative Law
Judge, including the hearing on June 9, 1998, the documents and e�ibits introduced therein, the
arguments and statements of counsel for the parties on August 26, 1998, and the deliberation of
the Council in open session. The Report of the ALJ is expressly incorporated in and made a part
of this Resoludon.
A copy of this Resolution, as adopted, shall be sent by first class mail to the
Administrafive Law Judge, and to counsel for the licenseholder.
