Council File # 98-822 GreenSheat# 6212/+ RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, NIINNESOTA Presented By Referred To 2 3 4 5 6 7 S 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 2A 25 26 27 28 ?9 �0 1 2 Committee: Date WF�REAS the City Councii passed a resolution (C.F. 97-1428) regazding the abatement of a nuisance building located at 815 Chazles Avenue in the City of Saint Paul which was adopted on November 26, 1997, and provided in pertinent part that the Department of Fire & Safety Services, Division of Code Enfarcement would demolish the structure if the properry owners did not make a11 repairs necessary for code compliance by July 18, 1998; and WHEREAS the property was subsequently conveyed to a new owner who has e�ressed the intentto xehabilitate the property; BE IT RESOLVED, resoluflon, Council File Number 9?-1428, which was passed Novamber 26, 1997, raquiring rehabilitation or demolition of the real properry located at 815 Charles Avenue shall be amended in part as followed: WHEREAS, a hearing was held before the Legislative Hearing Officer of the Saint Paul City Council on Tuesday, November 18, 1497 to hear testimony and evidence, and after receiving testimony and evidence, made the recommendation to approve the request to order the interested ar responsibie parties to make the Subject Property safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare and remove its blighting influence on the community by rehabilitating this structure in accordance with all applicable codes and ordinance, or in the alternative by demolishing and removing the structure in accordance with all applicable codes and ordinances. The rehabilitation or demolition of the structure to be completed within � hundred eighty days (180 after the passing of this resolution, provided any outstanding vacant build'ang fees and a performance bond in the amount of �2.000.00 is posted by noon on September 14 1998 , , . , ; and �7�_=• The Saint Paul City Council hereby makes the foliowing order: The above referenced interested or responsible parties sha11 make the Subject Properry safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare and remove its blighting influence on the communiry by rehabilitating this structure and conecfing all deficiencies as prescribed in the above referenced Order to Abate Nuisance Buildings(s) m accordance with all applicable codes and ordinances, or in the alternative by demolishing and xemoving the structure in accordance with a11 applicable codes and ordinances.
