1 WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Saint Paul to use sworn police officers to perform
2 communication duties in the Police Emergency Communications Center (ECC); and

4 WHEREAS, the question has been addressed concerning the desirability of continuing to use sworn
5 police personnel to perform police communication functions; and
6
7 WHEREAS, the City Council Investigation & Research Center has conducted a study and prepared
8 a report entitled: Staffing of the Police Emer�ency Communications Center.
9
10 RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the report and will proceed to consider its
11 recommendations.
