RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full to
the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the proper
City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the
Tort Liability Fund, 09070-0511, to: Tyler Olson the sum of
$1,236.76 in full settlement of his claim of damages sustained on
or about January 4, 1990, as more particularly set out in the
Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk's office on February 20,
1990.

On January 4 , 1990 , Sain� Paul Police .Officer Melvin Carter rear-ended a
vehicle driven by claimant, Tyler Olson , when Mr. Olson slowed his vehicle
in preparation to make a left turn onto Stillwater Avenue from White Bear.
Mr. Olson 's car was then improperly towed. Mr. Olson seeks reimbursement
for the damages his car sustained and for the improper tow. Mr . Olson has
agreed to a �settlement with the City for the amount of $1 ,236 . 76 .
