Presented By eferred To Committee: Date f-�2/�-�1d WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Hall and Courthouse, in addition to being significant structurally and architecturally, also originally contained specially designed and constructed furnishing and fixtures, much of which still remains in various city and county offices throughout the building; and WHEREAS, some furnishing and fixtures are in storage, or are in states of disuse or disrepair, or may have been moved out of the building to other city, school district and/or county offices; and WHEREAS, there exists 'no ir�ventozy of such furnishings and fixtures, from which as a beginning .to estimate the costs of repair and refurbishing, or to judge' usefulness or numbers of such furnishings and fixtures; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby request that the Mayor and his Administration, together with the Office of Council Research, proceed to contact the Ramsey Count� Historical Society, Ramsey County, and Independent School District No. b25, to prepare on a cooperative basis an inventory of all of the - historic furniture, furnishings and fixtures originally located in or made part of, or intended for use in, the present Saint Paul City Hall and Ramsey County Courthouse building; and, be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Administration and Council Research prepare a report on the inventory, stating the condition, location and usefulness of such furniture, furnishings and fixture, and making recommendations as to the disposition of the contents of the inventory. Such inventory and report 'shall be public documents.
