RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an Agreement granting
$1, 000. 00 to RONDO AVENUE, INC. for the purpose of staging the
Rondo Days festival; to be held August 17 and 18, 1990 and
conducted in accordance with Council approved guidelines dated
August 12, 1987 ; a copy of said Agreement to be kept on file and
of record in the Department of Finance and Management Services.

A G R E E M E N T
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of
, 1990 by and between the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, a
municipal corporation of the State of Minnesota (hereinafter
referred to as "City") , and RONDO AVENUE, INC. (hereinafter
referred to as "Rondo") .
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1987 the St. Paul City Council
established a Community Festival Loan Fund and
Grant Program, administered by the Division of
Parks and Recreation, for the purpose of assisting
neighborhood festivals with expenses, startup
costs and insurance coverage; and
WHEREAS, the St. Paul City Council has approved rules and
regulations to ensure the fair and equitable
distribution of the funds; and
WHEREAS, Rondo has applied for a grant in accordance with
these rules and regulations.
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. That the City shall grant to Rondo the sum of One Thousand
Dollars ($1, 000. 00) for the purpose of helping to fund the
annual Rondo Days festival; to be held August 17 and 18,
1990 as more particularly outlined in Rondo' s application
attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part of this
Agreement.
2 . That Rondo will prepare and submit to the City a report
outlining all expenses and revenues derived from the
Festival and specifically detailing how the grant money was
spent within 90 days after the completion of the festival
noted above. Rondo further will permit the Division of
Parks and Recreation staff full access to its books and
records concerning the festival.
3 . That Rondo shall submit to the City a copy of the Rondo' s
liability insurance policy naming the City as an additional
insured, said policy shall be forwarded to City by Auqust
7 , 1990.

4. That Rondo understands this agreement is not binding until
the City Council approves of it by resolution.
