RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full to
the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the proper
City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the
Tort Liability Fund 09070-0511, to John C. Blandings the sum of
$1, 200. 00 in full settlement of his claim .of damages sustained on
or about November 1, 1989, as more particularly set out in the
Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk's office on December 4 ,
1989.

On November l, 1989 , an air compressor unit which had been sold to the
claimant , Mr . Blanding, at a City Auction on August 10 , 1989 , was identified
by Mr. Thomas Keller from Keller Construction Company, the owner of the unit
who had reported it stolen in July. The Burnett County Sheriff ' s Department
was notified and subsequently towed the unit and returned it to Keller
Construction Company . As a result of this , Mr. Blanding has incurred
expenses of $1 , 200 .00 . We have agreed to reimburse Mr. Blanding for the
full amount of his loss .
