The Library has been granted Capital Improvement Bond funds to build a new Merriam Park
Branch Library. The community library committee, District 13, selected the site where
the existing building stands from a choice of three. But, to build the expanded library
which is needed, we wish to purchase the two properties adjacent and to the east of the
existing site at 1823 and 1827 Marshall Avenue.
