WHEREAS the Child Care Initiative was begun by Ordinance in October 1988 and
WHEREAS the Child Care Initiative has been involved in many endeavors
including KIDSDAY ' 89, the Children' s Resource Fair, the 298-kid-0
Information Line, and employee survey, personnel issues, the Child Care
Partnership grant Program, the Community Partnership: Child Care and Early
Education, e$c. , and
WHEREAS the �hild Care Initiative needs financial support to accomplish its
goals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the $10,000 allocated to the Child Care
Initiative b� placed in 0548 Contingency to be moved to Community Services
codes as fol�ows:
