WHEREAS the St. �aul Police Department sought and received Council authorization
to enter into an�d solicit funds for the D.A.R.E. program, and
WHEREAS, the St. Paul Police Department continues to receive contributions to the
D.A.R.E. program,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved thatthe St. Paul Police Department is authorized
to accept $26,295 from the Waldorf Corporation, Norwest Foundation, Order of the
Eastern Star Oriental Chapter No. 187, Public Safety Post No. 449 and Jean Thorne
Temporary Services, and
BE IT FURTHER R$SOLVED, that the appreciation of the City of St. Paul be extended
to all contribuCOrs.
