It was condemned in April of 1996. There have been three summary abatement notices. Vacant building fees and 1997 real estate taxes are unpaid. The estimated cost to repair is $3,000. The cost to demolish is $5,330. Randy Radunz, owner, appeazed and stated he has owned the properry for approximately 3 months. The house is structurally obsolete and should be torn down. He would like to salvage as much as possible and demolish the house himself. Mr. Radunz asked for 90 days to tear the house down. Chuck Votel stated it is permissible for the owner to do that with the proper pemuts, but suggested vacant building fees be paid. Gerry Strathman asked was the building secure. Mr. Radunz stated it would be difficult to get into the building. Gerry Strathman recommended amending the order to 3 months to remove or repair the building if the vacant building fee is paid by noon of January 28, 1998.
